Brooke’s Background
My background as an advertising producer, studio manager, and digital retoucher, enables me to create a smooth experience for you from start to finish. And because I'm used to working with big corporations like RBC, United Way, Snapchat and Boston Pizza, which demand high quality imagery with quick turnaround times, you will be able to see your images within days.
As soon as I graduated from the Commerical Photography Program, I went right into the advertising photo industry. I have focused on branding and content imagery for the last decade. I know how to organize an efficient photoshoot and I have the creative eye to produce stunning imagery for your business. I love my job because it is a space that allows me to be creative while making a positive impact through the companies I work with. Let’s talk.

I believe professional photography has power. It draws people in, strikes a cord, and showcases you as the expert in your field. This is why I feel that you need a Branding Photographer like me who will understand your vision & bring it to life in a visual way without selfies or boring stock images that don't represent you at all.

The Experience
No need to lose sleep over having your portrait taken. We totally understand how you feel, how do you think I became a photographer?? I always offered to take the photos!

That's why I loves shooting with natural light; to achieve the look of soft glowing skin and showcase you in an authentic way.

Step One:
Phone Consult and Vision Discussion
As your first point of contact, I will walk you through the early stages. During your discovery call I want to hear all about your business and what stage you are at. I’ll walk you through our packages and what we offer. No matter where you are in the process, I want to jump in and help take your business to the next level. I also want to hear about your vision and brainstorm with you about possible ideas for the photoshoot. This is a really exciting discussion and I can’t wait to get it started for you and your business! Book this call right here!
Step Two:
Pre Production - Booking and Prep Guide Questionnaire
After our Phone Consultation you will receive a package from me containing the Contract, Photoshoot Proposal, and Invoice. Each company is unique and I am able to create a package specific to their needs!
- Location Selection: to discuss the vibe you want to create, the ideal environment, and the opportunity it presents.
- Wardrobe Consultation - It is important that I understand your style and colour pallet because clothes really set the tone for the photoshoot. This is an important aspect that I will thoroughly discuss. At the shoot I encourage you to bring multiple options.
- Hair and Makeup Artist Referral - I want to hear about your hair and makeup vision, I will go over this with you as well as with the Hair and Makeup Artist to make sure you are showcased authentically. Hiring a professional will alleviate you from this job. Sit back, relax, and treat yourself!
- Detailed Schedule of the Day - I will create a thorough schedule for our photoshoot while using my ‘producer’ attention to detail so there are no surprises and no rush! You will know when we are meeting, where we are meeting, where to park, where to find coffee….all of those important things!!
Step Three
The Photo shoot
Creating a positive environment for your photoshoot is something I focus on from the moment you walk in. Posing you in a genuine and comfortable way is my job, and I'm really good at it! Just lean into the process and follow my voice, I will guide you through with breathing techniques and work with you. I also want to maximize your time on set. We will create a shot list and make sure everything on that list is covered. You will leave the shoot feeling confident that we accomplished everything we needed to and have created an amazing image library for your brand.
Step Four
Post Production
After the photoshoot I will create a gallery of images for you to select the images that you would like retouched. We will go over this gallery together in a Viewing Gallery Brand Reveal meeting where I will walk you through the photo selection. After you have chosen the images you would like I then get to work retouching the Headshots. My experience retouching for the last decade allows me to edit your photos in a flawless yet authentic way. I also colour correct and do a basic edit of the Social Media Library images as well. I want you to have your images as soon as possible after the shoot because the photoshoot will be a momentous event and I want that momentum to keep building and building. So you will receive the gallery within 72 hours of your photoshoot and the retouched files will be ready within 7 days of your selection.

What should I wear?
When you are considering what to wear for your photo shoot it is important to put comfort first! Try an outfit on and without looking in the mirror notice how you feel. You want the clothes to fit you properly, but also make you feel amazing. I always suggest bringing lots of options, (Formal/Casual/Fun) because you want to showcase your personality while also having versatile images that can be used for many different purposes. And a pop of colour never hurts!
How soon will the photos be ready?
Because of my experience in the fast paced world of advertising, my turnaround time is fast! Your gallery will be ready for viewing within 1 week of your session. This is a very important time in your business and I want the momentum we gain from the photoshoot to continue on. After you have chosen your final files, I will then retouch them and have them back to you within 7 days! So let's get going!
How long will the photo shoot take?
A session with me begins with hair and makeup (usually 1-2 hours) and then our session begins. Different types of sessions take different amounts of time (1-2 hours). But we will maximize your time on set. We will have the opportunity to get organized, get comfortable, and capture some amazing content for your business with so much variety to choose from.
What if I want to purchase more photos then what is included?
Each of my packages has a set number of final images with the option to add more.
What is the difference between a Location vs Photo Studio session?
A location shoot is a great option for those that operate their business out of a space or have multiple employees. Renting a photography studio space is also a fantastic option and there are many spaces I love to shoot in and can recommend.
